MDV Elite Camp-2024: how it was

It was grand! A business tour as part of the MDV Elite Camp loyalty program, which brought together 150 HVAC technicians from Russia and neighboring countries, has been completed. All of them received an invitation on the tour, since they fulfilled the loyalty program's conditions, according to them the total capacity sold VRFs, chillers, rooftops, unitary air conditioners, CCU of the MDV was over than 700 kW.

The business tour got to be incredibly eventful. The guests rested on the tropical island of Hainan and became acquainted with its natural and cultural features. Some of them visited Monkey Island, where 2,100 Guancian macaques live. They rode by funicular, which offers an amazing view of the jungle and the village with a local flavor.

The other part visited the Yanoda Rainforest, where is located one of the Hainan's most adrenaline entertainment. It is a bridge with a transparent glass floor, which is located at 400 meters above a deep abyss.

The rest alternated with business activities. In the tour program included a conference at which leading industry analyst Georgy Litvinchuk summed up the brand’s presence in Russia and other CIS countries in 2024.

For many guests the visit to the Midea Group HQ and factories was the most long-awaited moment of the business tour. It is important for any member of the HVAC industry to see the process of producing of VRF systems. The delegation participants witnessed the full assembly cycle of the outdoor unit of the VRF system MDV - from the moment of delivery of components on the line to the three-stage inspection of the finished unit.

The guests were pleasantly impressed by the production culture. It is fully automated. Robots are responsible for all processes. 17 robot manipulators are involved in the assembly of the first in the industry fully-sealed electronic box ShieldBox alone. MDV distributors, who have been to the plant not for the first time, assure that production has become almost perfect. The visit to the plant further increased confidence in the reliability and quality of MDV equipment.
